Is it easy and fast making pasta with the KitchenAid attachment? I've never made pasta before and I'd like to try. But the cost of the attachment is stopping me. If it takes too long it would turn into a white elephant.

I find it easy and fast but still end up with flour from one end of the kitchen to the other.  If you do get one make sure you also get a drying rack if you don't already have one.

Kate,  nice bread.  I love making pasta. I spread tea towels everywhere to catch the flour.  I have a pasta machine where you chuck everything in and it extrudes tubes.  Don't like it much.  Prefer to roll by hand with my other machine.  Make sure you use good quality Italian flour.
I will be interested to see how you go with the Crab recipe.   Have fun.

Your cheese and bacon bread rolls look fantastic; I wish I could reach out and take one, would have been good with my soup tonight. Also have sour dough on the go to finish baking tomorrow.

So today i made bread again... wholemeal with pumpkin and sunflower seeds.. then a soup with cauliflower florets (and stalks), broccoli carrot potato garlic small piece of red chilli onion ground lentils and stock
(homemade chicken stock from roasted carcass garlic carrot onion fresh basil thyme rosemary and a spoonful of dried milk) by the time i went for a bowlful of soup around 2pm .. my lovely kids had visited taste tested the soup, decided they needed to test it again... and again... with bread.. and then there was none .. so it looks like im on bread duty again.. hahah and i thought this TM was going to make my life easier.. hi ho.. hi ho.. off to the kitchen I go ;D
Cook with love.. share the heart
