I will give those buns a try; seem to have lost my cooking mojo at the moment and am just throwing dinner together.

I made some of Tenina's Power Balls, a loaf of bread and some vanilla essence today.

How long do you have to leave the vanilla essence?

I'm not sure. I used a recipe Nikki gave us. She said at least 3 months. She suggested that when the bottle was half full, you top it up and add a few more beans. Another idea, that I thought was good, was to have two bottles on the go. When one is soaking the other can be used.

The longer the better. I've always left for a minimum 6 months.

Thanks. I will try to stay away from mine. I made some Vanilla Bean Paste the other day so I can use that in a while.

Kimmyh ,  beautiful as usual. Haven't had breakfast but one of your finger buns would be very yummy.

Yesterday made double lot of SD Crumpets to put in Freezer. Made a pot of mixed grain to add to bread. I simmer it for a few minutes, let it absorb the water, cool and then bag and place in freezer. This adds nice texture to loaf without the crunchy bits.

Cookie, I just sliced the Zuchinni flower and kneaded in during the last few seconds. Would have been better with more flowers, probably 4.
This was added to potato bread. Made the softest loaf.

I made a low calorie beef goulash today in my PC.  I then strained it and have refrigerated the sauce part separately so the fat can go to the surface to be removed tomorrow.  I'll then add the sauce back to the rest and reheat and serve.  :D

I'm making Chicken Brown Rice Risotto (from Superhealthy book) and also AA's Hokey Pokey Ice Cream which is a free recipe that was only released today. I love how its got the whipping cream, condensed milk, and also evaporated milk combination which gives it a lovely flavour. The caramel sauce is delish and gets added tomorrow once the icecream has firmed up overnight.

Sounds naughty CP.  I'm guessing that recipe is in her latest newsletter email which I haven't read yet. Looking forward to hearing and seeing your review.

Cleaned the fridge out today then had a veggie cooking morning to save things which would have been thrown out in a few days time.  Handy to have in the freezer to accompany meat meals.

Steamed pumpkin, stir-fried zucchini and carrot timbales and Alyce's Cheesy Cauliflower Bake.
