I would say a wee bit better thanks Jean but I don't want to get ahead of myself as I could feel worse tomorrow.  The congestion is the worst thing.

Astarra thanks, I've rarely spent 4 days in bed with the flu but it shows I'm trying to shake it so that I can get back to doing what needs to be done. There are things to organise very  soon and I need to be on top of things.

Morning all.
No rain for 3 days which is good as the gardeners are having large loads of soil and timber delivered . About 1/3 way through building the veggie beds. They want to be finished by the end of the week, can't see it done by then.
The gardeners wife has just won a recipe competition run by the ABC. She has kindly given me the recipe but I am not allowed to share it until it is published in a book by the ABC.  Will do so when I can as it looks lovely.

Good morning folks.  I decided today was the day I would try and get up for a few hours as there is so much to do.  I had the best, uninterrupted sleep last night so I've changed the bed,  the washing is on  and I'll visit Geoff for a short time later as his sister found him very miserable yesterday and hating the place and everyone in it :-))  Obviously having your wife visit you everyday does make a difference. Thankfully by the time his sister left, he was back to his happy self.

I saw the whole thing unfold on the ABC. I ask you , "Why doesn't Cosgrove just buy his own Thermomix?" We pay him enough money surely.

Gert, don't think he is in the habit of buying stuff for himself.  Has worked for the Government most of his life.

Is anyone having trouble with the Butterfly coming off with the 5? When cooking risotto it has come off several times for me. Don't fancy little bits of black plastic through risotto.
