Well I’m sure mum had some so I’ll have a look for the kneeling pads that would mean I get a lot sorted . I got caught in the hail thunder rain this morning just leaving the supermarket and on my way home . DS hair looks a lot better but a huge hunk missing so he will just have to wait till it grows . DD uni on line and now helping in the shearing shed with crutching, ewes about to drop lambs so no dought they will tonight in this bad weather. Will miss DS but he was very pleased to get back to his friends .

KAtie that’s about right for the canola over here. Obviously much earlier than over your way.
This morning we went for a walk around town. I really enjoyed it. Lots of damage to homes from cyclone Seroja still not fixed. On the way back we got chatting to some ‘older’ ladies who were able to give me lots of fascinating gossip. It was great. They told us of a coffee caravan that was here for the tourist season so we had a coffee there.
This afternoon we went for a long walk along a wildflower trail. Nice but too early for wildflowers.

My old school and where I also taught long ago.
KAtie we did go through the water. It was on a road I knew extremely well. I used to drive my little Vauxhall Viva through that sort of thing when I taught up here.

Lovely photos cookie. How good was that to end up teaching at the school you attended.

Cookie, lovely memories, and photos.
DD rang to see if they could come for Dinner.  We can now go out but can’t have visitors, even family.   Have also had to postpone a visit from a friend who was coming for a few days. Have just made 12 SD crumpets. All but one to gave away.

Lovely photos Cookie.   We saw some beautiful wild flowers on our trip over there.  The lovely ladies of Morowa told us where to go to see lots of wreath flowers.  They were lovely.

Many years ago we lived in Kalgoorlie for a while but never got to see the wildflowers ... I would love to get over to see them sometime.

We left Morawa today and stopped off at Carnamah to have a coffee in a converted church. It was quaint. DH used to teach the partner of the lady who runs it. Nothing matches there. The crockery is all very good quality but none matches.
We then stopped off in the next town, Coorow, where they have built an old village of the early wheat belt days and old machinery. We loved it.

Cookie how wonderful to be in you home town , such memories for you . I think I would go just to see the wreath flowers .
DD spent 9-12 noon 1-4pm on line doing Uni here today . There was a ten minute break in the two sessions ! The zoom classes were interesting , lots of chatter to me regarding everyone on there including a tiny puppy . A break in crutching sheep wet .

Having a practice Zoom session tonight. We are redoing our wills and can apparently do the final witnessing via Zoom. GD helping us. Making her Lemon butter and Cauliflower patties as a thank you.
Watching more Olympics. Loving it.

We unpacked the van and I popped down to grab a bit of fresh food. I did a small loaf of washing- we have rain until Tuesday or Wednesday so it can go by the fire tonight.

Well yet again a day on the road , DD to shear to help move sheep for crutching. Returned to pick up ( DD is doing the driving ) . Off to pick up DS after hockey, ended up shopping for DD and never got to go to 70% clothing sale ! Grabbed late lunch for DS . It poured all the way home . DS back is sore , not sure what’s going on there but reason home was to help on the farm , looks like rest will be in order ! DD has been packing to return to college! It will be strange without her . But iron infusion on Monday for her , hopefully this will improve her wellbeing.
