Quick Fix in the Thermomix - Chicken & Green Bean Salad p96
« on: January 20, 2012, 12:15:11 am »
Very nice flavour. Would be a nice small lunch or dinner as it is light.  4/5 (I took off a point because I was hungry and it didn't fill me up - is that fair?)
I toasted my coconut on a plate in the microwave 1min, stir,1min.

No CP, you shouldn't have shared it with anyone  ;D ;D  :-* :-*
So glad you did this as the picture didn't do much for me.  Rather than shredding the chicken parcels, would it look better if you just sliced them into medallions and tossed them through the salad?

Possibly, as the chicken was so minced (miniscule) it was not like eating a chicken dish and if you didn't know you wouldn't identify it as such. It definitely has that Asian flavour, but felt more like a vegetarian dish IYKWIM.  You probably would only want smaller diced chicken as perhaps cooking time might be affected.

I made this tonight for lunches tomorrow and didn't read the reviews. I did everything the recipe said other than use a bit more chicken. I didn't mince it as small either. 5/5 from us - will definitely become a regular.  :D
