Sorry this might be a silly question but what sort of flour do you use.
Can't wait to make these.

Recipe Requests / Re: Chocolate custard
« on: September 10, 2010, 04:21:27 am »
Thank you so much. My son suddenly loves dark chocolate (he is 8 and only just started to eat chocolate) so when I made the caramel custard last night he asked if I could make him some chocolate custard and I thought it would be nicer with using real chocolate. Again thanks so much.

This is now one of my favourite cakes to make in TM. I also have to just mix it with spatula as just won't mix in bowl. Mine also take a lot longer than the recipe states, but well worth the wait.

I made this yesterday, FANTASTIC..... thanks so much for sharing. I also did not leave it for 10 mins in the first cooking process, I stopped it at about 7 mins, was about to boil over. I am making some more today for my Dad. Thanks again.

Main Dishes / Re: Fricasse Chicken

I work as a nightfiller at coles, usually near the end of trade at night they reduce the price of BBQ chicken to $3.00 so I always buy a few,  strip the meat from them and then freeze ready for a quick dinner, or great on pizza. Now I know how easy my fricasse chicken is with the TM will become on the dinner menu more regularly.

As a child my mum use to make this all the time so last night I tried it in the TM and it cooked perfect, I could never make the sauce without lumps now I can

Name of Recipe: Fricasse Chicken
Number of People: 4 with rice
Ingredients:
1 BBQ chicken
Bechamel sauce from EDC
seasoning
Chiken stock

Preparation:
Make the bechamel sauce from EDC but use half the milk and half chicken stock, cook as per recipe
Add chicken and cook for 15mins on temp 100  :-: and on  ^^
Serve with rice
My husband thought made this way was the best I have ever made it.

Caroline J - Made this but found by the time I had added a load of vegies and the chicken, I wished I had made a double batch of the sauce.  Will do that next time. The kids wolfed this down but I would probably add onion and garlic next time for a bit more oomph for the adults. Thanks for the recipe- a quick one that's perfect for the kids.

I have also added vegies, garlic and onion to this and use it as a pie filling.  It's YUMMY!

Drinks / Re: Boost Juice style Smoothies
« on: January 05, 2010, 12:34:29 am »
My favourite at the moment is Tropical Fruit Smoothie:
Banana, pineapple, mango, mango sorbet and tropical/brekky juice, I just toss it all in TM blend for about 30secs and there it is...yummo.
Sometimes I will puree quite a few mango and just freeze the flesh so it is easy just to grab some out of the freezer when wanting a smoothie.
