Oh Judy, I thought it was just me.
I too love tuna and so does my boys but my youngest took one look at it and said "I don't like it!" It hadn't even touched his tongue.  Then after he tried it, he cried!!! Poor kid. He liked the lemon parmesan cheese though. ha ha  Poor kid. They don't know what I'm going to dish up next.
I haven't spent too much time investigating the recipes on here but that is my job for this week.
Gosh and to think I'm going to be demonstrating this machine.  I have to get my act together quick smart.
I might spoil them with some icecream this weekend.

Ended up going to the bottle shop.
Dinner wasn't that wonderful, I think I used too much stock concentratre. I made pasta with tuna out of the every day cookbook.  Boy was it salty!  Still wearing "L" plates.

Can anyone tell me what I could use instead of white wine in a recipe.  It's to go with tuna and I dont have any white wine in the house???  ???
Thanks in advance!

All I can say is ditto to the above and practice, practice, practice!
That's what I'm doing.  I've only had mine 2 days so far.  I should spend more time playing with it than on here!
I'm just so excited I can't stop talking about it to anyone that will listen.  At least on here people dont get sick of talking about the TM.

 ;D ;D ;D

Hi NurseGladys,
I'm a newbie too and I'm also in Perth.  Where abouts are you?  I'm in the northern suburbs.
Look forward to sharing TM stories with you on here.  I've only had mine 2 days so it's all still very basic for me.

Hi there,
I've only had my TM for 2 day and so far I've only had the courage to do really simple stuff like a cake, a slice & custard.  I totally understand your fear with the mains.  That's my stumbling block at the moment.  Tonights the night though!  If all else fails.... there's always eggs on toast for dinner! ha ha
At least there is lots of supportive people on here to help, guide and support us.
We need to throw caution to the wind and just go for it.
Goodluck! & keep posting on here so we can see how you're going with it.
Cheery bye
Jodi

So far we've mastered lots of sweet treats! (All the important stuff)  ;D

The first night I made Popcorn Brunch Bars - a massive hit with the kids.  Last night we made chocolate custard and today my 9 year old son made $4 chocolate mud cake!  Gee looking back, we look like big chocoholics don't we? he he

My next test is to make dinner tonight. My only problem is, I can't decide what to make.  ??? Positively spoilt for choice.

Lots of my friends have thermomix envy now!

Thanks for all your encouragement ladies. I love this forum! A new world of friends. :)

Hi again everyone,
I just thought I'd update you all..... I got my Thermomix!!!!
I signed up as a demonstrator on Sunday and after discussions with my hubby we decided to pay it off on a payment plan that we can manage and as I make commission, that will come off the balance.  Should have it paid off in no time hopefully.
I'm no longer in envy of everyone!!
Yippee! So excited.

Hi Everyone,

This is all very new to me.  I had my first Thermomix experience last weekend at my sister in laws.  It was love at first sight.  :-*

Ever since, I've been conjuring up ways of coming up with the money to buy my own. I don't like the idea of the long term payment plans as you end up paying so much more for it. I wont be beaten though. I'm speaking to a lady tomorrow about being a demonstrator!

Are there any demonstrators on the forum that can share any advice or tips?  I'm petrified at the thought of selling them even though they sell themselves.

A whole new world has opened up this week. My husband and children even love the TM. No convincing to be done there!  :)

Any advice is most welcome.
Thanks a million!
