Introduce Yourself / Re: Hi from Bunbury WA

congratulations girls!  You've just made the best investment ever!  You'll soon understand why, I'm sure.

It's so exciting.  The hardest thing I found was trying to decide what to cook for dinner!  Spoilt for choice.  :P

I wish you both well with your new toys.  Holler on here if you ever get stuck.  No doubt there will be someone on here that lives up the road.  I'm sure there's a few on here from the south west of WA.  Perth's not that far these days so if you're ever in perth, let us know. There's a few lovely forum members in Perth organising get togethers.

enjoy!

 :)

Lucky girl!

Like the others have suggested.  Get in contact with Thermomix Australia and get in touch with a local demonstrator to help set you up and support you.  That is really important.  We are all here to support you too!

Where abouts are you?  One of us could live close to you too! Everyone on here is always willing to help.

Good luck and keep us posted.

Good luck Deb,
Maybe on this forum you might be convinced how wonderful this machine is and how your life can be changed by having one.
We look forward to your contributions. Hopefully you too will be the proud owner of a TM.

Hi Amzy,

Welcome! You will soon find that you will be as addicted to this forum as you will be to your TM.

You make so many friends from all over the world on here.  Loads of support too!

Where are you from?

Good luck with the demonstrating.  I start my training on Wednesday night. Very exciting and daunting all at the same time.

Cheery bye
Jodi

Hi Audrey,
Congratulations!  I too was a "cook from scratch the old fashioned way" girl but I don't miss the old ways one bit.  In fact, I cook SOOOOO much more now than ever and I am still cooking from scratch but in a different way.

I've only had my TM for 2 weeks so I'm not too far ahead of you.

I'm in Perth too! Where abouts are you? I'm in Alexander Heights.

Good luck and have lots of fun!  Don't be scared and if you have any troubles at all, jump on here so the girls can help solve them. And we want to hear all your successes too!

Hello Kylie, welcome to our forum.  You'll get loads of support here. It's been my saviour and also to a lot of others on here.

I start my demonstrator training on Wednesday night. I've had my TM for 2 weeks now so luckily I've had quite a bit of time to practice and get used to it.

We'll both be scared together but at least we'll have someone to talk to. he he

Good luck tomorrow!

I tackled this one tonight and made it exactly the same as the recipe except instead of white wine, I used Brandy because that's what I had and my old recipe I used to make used brandy.

Absolutely divine!  We all loved it. So excited there's left overs. They're ALLLL MINE!!!!  ;)

Love, love, love.

Oh I hope so. Maybe I can sell a Thermo or two while I'm there to give me an excuse to have to go back!

Breakfast / Re: Protein Smoothie (Cyndi O'Meara) - Sim
« on: October 17, 2010, 03:22:53 am »
I made this today and all I can say is YUMMO!

DH & I have been having smoothies for quite some time for breakfast but they were getting quite expensive to make because we used protein powder, a lot more nuts and lots of milk. (Milk doesn't sit too well in my tummy).

We tried it this morning and both went MMMMmmmm! at the same time. :-*

Love it!

Smoothies are back on the breakfast menu!

Hi Kay,
We're going to Preston Beach in January and mark my words, the first thing to be packed in the car is Thermie!!!
I'm already doing a shortlist of recipes to make when I'm down there. ;)
Where abouts in Perth are you from?  I'm in Alexander Heights.
Enjoy your break!

How lucky are you?  :D I'm sure you know.
Congratulations! It's so much fun exploring cooking in a totally new dimension and healthier to boot.
I've only used my Varoma once so far.  Very easy but haven't got back to it again.  Baby steps!
Have fun and keep us posted.

DaniV, that is awesome that you are writing a book. Congratulations! Can't wait to get a copy of it.
My husband only said the other day, "I wonder if there's an iPad app? Wouldn't that be great" and there you have it. You have it in the making.  Fantastic.
I'm too new to the TM world to come up with a book worthy recipe but I wish you all the luck in the world. There are some amazing contributors on this forum.
Please keep us updated with your progress!

Introduce Yourself / Re: Having the time of my life
« on: October 14, 2010, 10:45:12 am »
Oh girls, I stopped collecting jars and ice cream containers a while back (pre TM days) as they started to take over the cupboards, now I've got the girls from work saving them for me. Of course it comes at a cost.  I have to take treats into work for them to try.  It's a hard job but someone has to do it!  :D And I don't like experimenting much  ;D ha ha

Absolutely loving the whole new lifestyle and I love chatting to you lovely ladies on here.  Makes my day! :-*

Hi girls,
I'd love to join a Perth catch up but unfortunately, I can't make this one.  I generally work most Friday's.
I'll keep watching to see when the next one is planned.
Keep me posted  ;D
