Hi from North Canberra
« on: November 14, 2009, 02:21:25 am »
Hi guys,

As you can see from my user name, I am still a teenager. Since we bought the Thermomix, about three weeks ago, I've been cooking a lot, and often show my parents how to use it.

We discovered this machine when travelling through Italy and Germany around July of this year, with most of our European family and friends owning one of these. Having searched for it when we got back to Australia, we decided to splurge and buy it.

Mum and Dad have also decided to become consultants, and are starting to find people for demos. I'm also going to be helping out, and when I get my P's, I will also run them.

Thank you for listening to my rambling on.

Welcome Thermoteen, great to have you on the forum. You'll be able to get lots of recipes and impress your parents.

Welcome thermoteen - good luck with the cooking/thermomixing.  Wish I had one when I was in my teens - I would probably be able to cook properly now.

Re-phrase that Thermomixer.  You would probably have your own cooking show by now ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D  You are already a great cook  ;) ;)

Well done. A lot of us (me included) have had difficulty mastering that.

Hey there Thermoteen! Congrats on the yoghurt. Great to see you getting involved with the cooking in your household. I have one son who loves to cook (and eat). The other would dine on take-away if given the choice!
A great cook is one who can rustle up a fabulous family meal with some freezer burnt chops, wilted carrots, sprouting potatoes and cabbage that's gone brown on the cut edges.

Don't worry, I used to work at McDonald's.

While I still don't know what's inside, I know that the preparation of the food seems disgusting. Did you know that it takes only 40 seconds to cook 9 (Cheeseburger/Big Mac) patties from a frozen state?
