I wasn't sure if I should post anything but have spoken to Judy and she's given her OK.
About a week or so ago JD had a severe hemmorage in her bowel and was rushed to hospital where she has spent some time in ICU and had surgery. It turns out that she has a leision in her bowel, at this stage she doesn't know how serious this is. JD is due to go home tomorrow. Geoff is spending some time in an aged care facility and will continue to do so for a month to allow Judy to recover.
The holiday has been called off as she won't be up to all the physical demands of moving luggage and helping Geoff.
It sounds like Judy has a really good support network around her to help her through all of this.
As we'd expect, she's missing the forum and all of her friends here so is eager to get back on line and catch up with everyone - just as we all miss her!!!!
I'm sure you will all join me in wishing Judy a speedy recovery, good news from the specialists and lots of love!!!
