« on: October 10, 2009, 05:33:31 am »
from the coast. we had a lovely time but i'm exhausted now! (i went with 3 girlfriends and our 9 kids)

one gf and i took our tmx's so we used them to make smoothies, sorbet etc, had an indian banquet for dinner one night and made playdough (after quickly searching the forum for the recipe ;)) yesterday - that kept the kids entertained for an hour unbelievably! lol

feel like i've been away forever not 3 nights lol

hope you've all behaved yourselves ;)

Thanks to Chelsea for a fabulous idea!!

Review-arama!
Cook and review two forum recipes that have 2 or less reviews - preferably none (one sweet and one savoury) and offer honest feedback and suggestions for improvement.

Post which ones you are going to cook and review so we don't all double up - let's say no more than 2 people doing each recipe.  Those that have a camera could also post photos of the dishes with their reviews.

so let's get reviewing!!!!

Tips/Hints:

Can anyone hazard a guess as to how they think this SHOULD be cooked, as the instructions make no sense at all - chop the tomato and potato but then you're meant to add them separately, plus you're never told to take them out of the bowl in the first place... etc etc

has anyone worked out the proper cooking times so as not to end up with vegie mush?

the book says 20 mins with vegies then add chicken and do 10 more mins

tonight i did 6 mins for potatoes, 6 mins for vegies and then 10 mins for chicken. i have a few mushy nearly whole bits of zucchini and the baby corn is fine, but my carrots, potatoes and broccoli is gone totally.

i do cut into small pieces, for the kids ie: my potato was about 1.5cm dice, the carrot halved and sliced a few mm thick etc
