Just a FYI - I tried chopping Cocoa butter in the TM and came across wild protest. I haven't been game to try beeswax, I reckon it would be a bugger to clean.

*waving hands in the air* I'd love to be a guinea pig. Are you north/south?

I want to buy "Sim's greatest beauty recipes" - have you written it yet? I usually just indulge at the library...

The library website has been down since I read your post last night. Stupid maintenance! My grandmother has a million and one books, including plenty about gardening and herbs - I will have a look and see if she has this one by Nerys. Thank you.

Yeah, what he said. I haven't got a clue where to start. Maybe Fyshwick... or something.

Thanks for that. I have been trying to find things locally but it's not easy! There used to be a great supplier in Fyshwick, but he moved to Noosa. Hmm, so should I.
Have you found KOH locally? (for liquid soap)

Noice!
Seeing as you are in Canberra, I will ask, where do you buy your e-wax and preservatives?

Hah yeah - I can walk to Bunnings, but I can't walk home again without, say, a mule or some Sherpas...

Actually... I asked the guy in the cleaning aisle and we went on the walk together And he couldn't even find it that time!!

If you don't find it with cleaning chemicals, try the aisle near the paint desk that has other chemicals. Not strippers, but other things. That's where I found my caustic soda (for regular bar soap) after 3 aisles and 2 visits.
