Andie, a doona here in Australia is a (usually down or wool but now often synthetic filled) quilt (the type that is inserted into a removable outer cover).  It's a long time since I heard the term eiderdown, to my mind they are a quilt with a permanent cover.  Not as common now as they used to be.

;D Judy, i'm at work now 5 days a week, full time, and some saturday mornings.

Now we can go out for dinner and stay at the shop, instead of not going out at all.

Love the bag, Judy!
I've had a happy morning at the Adelaide Showground Farmers Market and then the Good Food and Wine Show.
Brought home some gorgeous purple carrots, organic spinach, fig & fennel bread, fresh capsicums and basil.

I'll be interested to hear what you think of the purple carrots Amanda.

Yesterday I bought a Marble Icecream Set. I saw one in Alice Springs and then tried Darwin and here to get one. Then yesterday we saw one and bought it. We rather like mixing 'stuff' into our vanilla icecream.

Frozzie, you keep the marble in the fridge/freezer, and you mix in nuts/lollies/etc with the spades, without the ice cream melting......I bought one a while back, but it's still in the box  :P
Cold Rock ice-creameries use them for all the mixing......mind you, it's WAY cheaper to do it yourself.....they charge like a wounded bull  :-))
