O.k.......somethings going on!

Another thermoserve (used this time) has been listed on ebay....but under a different sellers name, and with no feedback as yet.
Interestingly it is listed at a starting price of $60.00......but.....the picture is the same picture used as in the $212.5. acution.
I think someone is getting a little greedy....don't you?  :-)) or possibly someone has copied the picture from other auction.  Lets see what this one makes!

I have several SS insulated bowls, all made by Vollrath and all purchased at a restaurant supply.  They range from .75  qt to  10 qt  and have ridges on the outside, which makes them easier to hold when loaded with heavy stuff.  I'm pretty sure I got the entire bunch for less than that price on ebay.   Some are round and some are square.
As I recall the biggest was around $50.00  some ten years ago when I was doing a lot of catering.

If you can find a restaurant supply store that sells to the public, I'm sure you can get a better price on something similar, if you need an insulated bowl.    I don't know if Vollrath is sold in Australia, but they produce excellent products.  I have a lot of their cookware also.
I've got six of the little ones and use them for salsas and other stuff I want to keep chilled for buffet service.
The biggest one always holds salad greens.

They're lovely bowls Andie.

I bought a giant insulated bowl - 10L - from Deals Direct for $30-something recently.  It's great for large amounts (we have a large family, so that's frequent), but I love the Thermoserver more.  I think I'll try to get another one sometime, but not for $200+ from eBay!?  My big insulated bowl is very ugly, btw - plastic outer!
