The very one MF - sometimes the wind would blow up some embers and we would have to move. Our jumpers smell a little smoky but our burgers were deeeeeeelish. A little girl was sitting there in her polar fleece dressing gown and I was a little on edge the whole time It was so nice being next to the open fire, and the burgers were so delish. We took our close neighbours - they complained as we passed the closeby burger place 10 mins from us, and we went about 45 mins thereafter collecting a speeding ticket along the way but they wholeheartedly agreed it was well worth it.
A glass or so at home and its still so early. Great day.

was yum
I used this marinade.
http://www.taste.com.au/recipes/24518/soy+honey+and+ginger+roast+chicken
But used chicken breasts instead. Best flavour is to marinate for a few hours, but I left it overnight.
I cooked them the usual way I cook breasts, which is:
heat oven to 190c.
heat 2 Tbsp. rice bran oil in a fry pan on medium-low heat, fry breasts 3 minutes per side.
transfer to an oven tray, and bake for 10-12 minutes (depending on how thick breasts are), once finished cooking, lightly cover with foil and rest for 3 minutes.

We had an early tea tonight - baked some vegies in the weber then added the pork fillet with 25 minutes to go whilst steaming some vegies in the TMX.

Chicken, mushroom and bacon pies from Nigella Express. Doubled the recipe, added in extra veg (leek and beans) and also added mustard and worcestershire sauce. That'll cover lunch for tomorrow too!

Went to
Alfred's kitchen]=http://www.alfredskitchen.com.au/] Alfred's kitchen
last night for DH birthday. Collected a speeding fine going through a set of lights on the way, but DH was fanging for some of their good tucker. Great hamburgers and lovely soup, we wIere not let down. A crowd there but we pushed our way towards a close seat near the fire. Woke up with hair that smells of smoke - but that's a rare treat.
