Lovely Maddy.

Today has been an interesting cooking day. Made some tomato relish which turned out fine until I turned jar upside down and it spewed out everywhere.  Made Donna Hays Ultimate dessert choc cake. So far so good but havent tasted yet. Currently have a roast chicken in oven that I rubbed with KFC spice mix. Thought I was being clever then realised should have mixed spices with flour to diluted it. Might be the hot and spicy KFC version tonight ;) Fingers crossed it is edible.

Oh yum Kimmy, you've been cooking up a storm! It will be interesting to hear how your chicken goes...but at least it is just a coating, so if it is too hot for the kiddies, you can just serve them the inside bits :)

Maddy you take my breath away with your beautiful cakes.
Today made Honey Snap Biscuits. And Cantucci ( biscotti) biscuits.  These keep well and as we are having lots of visitors over Easter,  I don't want to be baking at the last minute
