I will now admit that I had to rush and check who your clever SS was CC. Lovely blanket SS.

What a lovely and personal gift, CC, your SS obviously put so much of herself into that gift and that makes it very special indeed.

I'm looking forward to seeing what is in the last few unopened gifts. In fact I'm curious.

I've been very patient and my SS pressie is under the tree with the others, but I'm looking forward to opening mine tomorrow

Well, I finally succumbed yesterday - I just couldn't wait that extra day, I ripped into my SS gift and am absolutely delighted.  It is the Revive Cafe's cookbook no. 4.!  I love the cookbooks put out by this cafe and there are already several recipes marked in this latest one for me to cook up as soon as I get a chance.

Unfrotunately I am unable to take a photo as I am, literally, neck deep in paperwork, etc. in our shop move, but, take my word for it, it is a beautifully presented book and I would recommend it to anyone looking for good, delicious vegetarian and vegan recipes.

To my very thoughtful SS, thank you so very much for going to all the trouble of ordering this in from overseas for me.  I truly appreciate and love my special present and will think of you every time I cook something from it.

Lovely present Marina and some wonderful recipes in No. 4.

I'm up early and made a beeline to my present. A kirigami calendar that has come with a lovely selection of really beautiful papers .
A very clever SS. I love paper craft and will think of you every day as l turn the page. Thankyou so much. I will have a practice this afternoon as there are some folds to master.

After waiting so long to open my present, I couldn't wait any longer to make the first kirigami. I shouldn't have started until the 2nd of January, now I don't have a 1st of January. :-)) I've got some exquisite papers to keep me occupied until next year. The calendar is sitting on the desk in the study where I spend a lot of time and now will be mastering kirigami. Again a big thankyou to my SS, I love it. :-*

It sure does, I've never heard of it before but it's going to give you a lot of pleasure Michele.

Perfect present for you Marina, I hope things settle down soon for you at work - this dreadful weather must be making it harder for you though.
