Interesting reading; will look for Dust of the Land. At the moment I have gone to the book shelf and am re reading We of the Never Never. Sometimes its nice to remember and story that has been enjoyed a long time ago. Cookie, who wrote Runaway Lies.

Shannon Curtis wrote it troupie. I've finished the Liane Moriarty I was reading for book club. Read Katherine Howell's latest, which I loved and have almost finished Rachael John's latest book. Not sure what I will read next. I think maybe Lisa Genova's latest, Inside the O'Briens.

I love true crime and while away went to the second hand book store and picked up Blood Vows. Really good as it is set in Newcastle. About a Helen Cummings - incidentally her mother Joy Cummings was the first female Lord Mayor of Newcastle and in Australia. Will take the book and leave it at work as I think some of the die hard Novocastrians would enjoy it.

I picked up Gone Girl in excellent condition from an op shop in Ballarat for $5, there were many books much cheaper but I particularly wanted to read this one.

Welcome to the forum. I'm pleased we are useful for things other than recipes. I've finished the latest JD Robb a while ago. I'm reading an Anna Jacobs at the moment.
My DD is friends with Rachael John's who writes rural romance, so I read her latest a while back.

I read And TheMountains echoed a while ago, I loved that. I've also been a bit gruesome and read a couple of books about death. Stiff was one and the other was Smoke Gets in Your Eyes. I enjoyed them both.

What sort of books do you enjoy reading?

OMG, I think I've read a few good books since this last post. I will have to have a look. I did read the book about the O'Briens that cookie recommended and found it very insightful, a disease which I now am more aware of since this book. Its amazing how reading a book can really make you see how important it can be to be aware of genetically inherited diseases.

I've been working my way through the "Bones" books. I am up to the 5th or 6th book but I have taken a break from these to read some books I got for Father's Day.

So far I have read "X" the latest installment in the alphabet mystery series by Sue Grafton, Usain Bolts autobiography "Faster than Lightning" and now I am reading the fourth book in the Millennium series " The Girl in the Spider Web".

DD what did you think of "The Spiders Web"? We are looking at it for book club but not sure if we will go ahead with it.  Also what did you think of Usain Bolts Book?
