Poor you and poor dog Amanda ;D
The pool sounds good Maddy

Have been dehydrating some zucchini and some strawberries.  Don't know what I will use the strawberries for yet but will use the zucchini for thickening soups and stews.

Sounds to me as if you have made some decisions today Amanda - what drove you to this point?

Have you tried this 24 hour vet on Anzac Highway?

That's too far away for anything but the direst emergency, thanks Judy.  I'll just see how she goes.  Poor old chook has just finished a course of antibiotics for her bum, but it does seem to be flaring up again.

My recent career change, which involves long hours on my bum, has resulted in the vanishing of my muscle tone - that's my motivation!

This one snuck up on us Suzanne, thanks for letting us know.  You're now in my birthday book and here's your special thread for today.

Amanda you gave me quite a chuckle. Hopefully you don't need the 24 hour vet. DD did last weekend for her bird and the consultation was $177 before midnight. I hate to think what after midnight would be.

Enjoy the gym you dislike the least.  ;D :D :D :D

Glad you having a great day Suzanne.

Just returned from a wonderful afternoon of bread making - We made the sleeping giant loaf. A loaf that you make up and refrigerate for a week using as much as you need each day to make whatever bread for the day or freezing it portions if not using it up in a week.

One really interesting point was that 100mls of water doesn't = 100gms of water. We tested it and the two don't add up the same.
It changes depending on the altitude of where you are too.

Something to consider as we check the accuracy of our TMX scale that way.

Anyway everything I've read from Chookie's bread making tips all seemed to come together and make sense.  :)

Great news Michele do you think we would be able to do the sleeping giant loaf using the tmx?

Absolutely Cookie, a half batch, I don't think TMX would cope with a kg of flour.
It was awful hand kneading - Chef told us to knead for 12 minutes, took more like 20 minutes. The air con wasn't the best as we kept having power failures. I was very hot at the end of it all.

I love my thermomix  :D
