Hubby tried to get in as a surprise for me. We didn't get the ballot. However we have had friends that have been and they say its not just a degustation its a full on show for nearly 5 hours. It sounds a lot but best seats at a show and dinner to follow wouldn't be much less.

Well today is the day to try and get back on track......

There are now 4 of us to feed, we have a lovely Japanese lady staying wit us for 3 months, we need to work out a doable budget for 4 adults (yes cp eats like an adult). If its not doable I will give up.

What do others use for 4 people?

I have a pantry full of lots of goodies and freezers packed to the rafters. I have no fresh fruit or veg as we have been away. So I need to stock up in that area.

 :)

« on: January 30, 2015, 07:30:57 am »
I have just received the email with all the info, I am unable to go as I will be in Venice.

1. Peppers Sentosa, have been there for a meal, lovely food.
2. Starfish Bloo, its at the W hotel, we stayed there in July and September, fantastic food the head chef Kevin is fantastic, he used to work with Neil Perry at his Rockpool restaurant down at the rocks in Sydney. I know the F&B manager quite well and the food is superb.
3.Sarong a fav eating place of ours, I have the online cookbook.

Everything Tenina has pulled together is fantastic for foodies, I would have loved to have gone.

Whoever goes will love it, Seminyak is a foodies paradise.

Enjoy,wish I could go:)

My fav restaurant in Seminyak is Merah Putih, so if you have a free night that is a really lovely place to visit. there are so many fantastic dining opportunities there, we always go to Seminyak to eat ;D :P

Chit Chat / Re: Any advise on selling homes and moving?
« on: January 12, 2015, 11:41:06 pm »
As a family we have moved 3 times in less than 10 years.

Decllutter, kids toys, books, ornaments, pack as much up as yo can. We ended up renting a storage unit and storing everything there. Our last move we had a firm come in and totally clean up the the garden, it looked fab afterwards and made a huge difference.

Fresh flowers for every home open and the house should look as neat and clean as possible.

Good luck, I hate home opens, hard work selling with children around.
