Kids and OH had red sea mullet plus salad
I also made pumpkin risotto for the first time and it was delicious....even the kids and OH liked it!

Im hungry for dessert now  :-))

200gms dried cherries
enough cherry brandy to cover
150gm sweetened condensed milk
2.5 to 3 cups dessicated coconut

place cherries into small sauce pan an pour over just enough cherry brandy to cover. I didn't actually cover them completely just about halfway up the sides of the very top cherries in the pan. Heat on a low to medium heat until just starting to boil. Remove from heat and let stand until most of the brandy is absorbed, about an hour or two. Follow Rara's recipe as above.

Oh yeah and after you tip the cherries and unabsorbed brandy into the TM bowl lick the pan clean of all juice.

Hi Wonder
We made three batches of sourdough using our thermomix so we could cook them at home
pizza/ciabata
everyday loaf
bitter chocolate loaf
also came home with a "mother" starter
We tasted around 7 different breads.
Made the pizza tonight which the dough was quite sticky.  Unfortunately kids like "normal" homemade pizza :(
Will make the other two loaves tomorrow and hopefully it will turn out.

I am still a bit confused about sour dough....you need to plan ahead  :-\

We are having pizza  too Yvette.
The pizza dough was made yesterday at the sour dough cooking class.
Fingers crossed it works.....she made it look too easy  :-))

Today I went to a sour dough cooking class.
It was fantastic.
I tasted so many different breads, pizza dough and ciabata's.
Also got to take home a started as well as three breads that we mixed and kneaded in our thermomixers.
Cant wait to bake them tomorrow in my new bread tin.
I bought her two books that she signed  ;D
