Happy 50th to Mab’s DS.
Lunch was good at KaffeeHaus.
Birthday season in full swing. Off to Sofitel in Melbourne for 2 nights starting tomorrow.  A little bit of luxury.

We are having hot smoked trout with potato salad and a mixed salad. Didn't want to turn on the oven tonight.

I bought myself a chicken dinner on the way home from visiting today, a late lunch/early tea.  Really enjoyed it as it’s not something I do very often.

I'm planning to cook Chicken and Lemongrass Skewers with Spiced Rice. I'll open all the windows whilst cooking to try to keep the kitchen cool  ;D

Last night I made Pumpkin soup and Chookie's Chia bread in the casserole dish. Thank goodness for the Thermomix as we were late home and it didn't take long to make it all.

Tonight is home made burgers.
