Hi Judy, I'm not sure where I should put this, but I came across this today - apparently it's from this book.

Sneaky Macaroni Cheese

ETA: In the interest of being clear, this is the recipe. lol

I've added it to the above post jakodai

Is this the orginial recipe then? Have you tried? I was thinking of giving it a whirl tonight...

She says it's from the book TAT but that she slightly modified it.

Jakodai, when someone reviews this recipe I will add the link you provided.

I made it but left the lid off when I was heating the milk and flour mixture! It was a bit bland, (well, it was from a baby and toddler book) but with lots of seasoning it was quite tasty. Better cold the next day though!

It's a fabulous book, Kimmyh.  I had it for a while but when stock ran out I succumbed to pressure to sell the copy which I took to demos to show people and so I haven't had a chance to cook anything but playdough out of it.  I have loved reading through it, though, and I think it's so useful it wouldn't really matter if you didn't own a Thermomix.  You could still get so much support from it, it would be a worthwhile gift for young parents.

From memory, pretty much the same.  I make it to the recipe from here - from Faffa - on this thread:

A friend has this book and lent it to me recently.  I was pretty impressed by it and will probably get it a little later....a lot of recipes in there very adaptable to "adult friendly".. as Judy has already pointed out
