Rolls look good Chookie.

I had a bit of success this morning. I managed to purchase a “Baking Box” from one of the flour producers. You would have thought I won the lottery.😂 Arriving by courier on Monday. 😁

I love the look of your baking box Denise.
Chookie, awesome rolls. Mich I love the pie maker book. I’ve only done a couple of things from it but they have been nice.

Of course you were excited Denise, flour is essential in most homes and it’s a crying shame to see so many empty shelves in the supermarkets.  It’s great that people are cooking though.

Wow, Denise.  I would love one of those. You will have great fun.  It is so exciting when the delivery van pulls up with something for you.
Like Judy said, no flour but it is good that people are baking.  Bread is such a comfort food.
All the crumpets I cooked are gone.  I don’t often eat them but had the reject one this time.  It was lovely.

SD crumpets.  I make up 4 cups at a time and cook them in the Sunbeam pie machine.

The rolls and crumpets look really yummy Chookie.
The baking box looks great CC.

Sounds interesting Michel.  Which size pie maker did you use. ?
The four pie maker.

Is that just plain flour ? Never heard of mayonnaise to make a bread roll ! Might try it too . Tomorrow teen exercise.
Self raising flour - you can substitute mayonaise for sour cream or greek yogurt apparently.

Interesting Michele, how long did you cook them for please?
I cooked them for 8 minutes with lid closed and clipped then turned them and did 2 minutes with lid
closed but not clipped.

I have just ordered a book on flower arranging from Book Depository. It is about using what is available in your garden. I am hopeless at putting flowers in a vase so hope this helps.

I have done several flower arranging courses in the past. Good fun. Watch some on you tube as well Chookie. You have a lot of wonderful material with witch to work. Get hold of some florists foam from the cheap shop. Maybe DGD can get some for you. Of course you can just arrange in a vase but you can be so much more creative with a bit of foam stuff.

I'm afraid my flower arranging is cut and plonk. It looks like it too.

I don’t have any flowers to put on show but I’m sure if I did your method would be mine too cookie.  Chookie you’ll have to post some pictures of your arrangements now that you’ve sparked our interest in your new venture.

Thanks for the advice and support.  I once did a floral arrangement course.  We wired every poor flower.  Not my thing at all.
Gert, good idea to look at uTube.

Had trouble trying to order a bread tin last night. Peters of Kensington, Alyce Alexander and several other online stores were sold out. I ended up getting one from Kitchen Style. Have never heard of them before.

I sympathise Mich. I was looking at bread tins last night and found the same thing. I don't need any more but I was checking the sizes.
