Yes Mandi, we don't need a photo of your purchase - we all know what it looks like.  :D :D

Hmm. What Have I bought lately. Some postcards and 3 tomatoes and a lettuce, here at Yulara. (Ayers Rock) Can't say I've found anything that I really want to have. I did see one opal brooch at coober Pedy but of course it was WAY OUT of my price range. DH tries to say I don't need anymore baubles but a girl can always have more.

Know what you mean Cookie.  DH wanted to buy me a necklet whilst we were in Sydney once and I saw a nice one in the window that would have done the trick.  So inside I go and ask the price - silly me, they don't put prices on things worth $30,000  :-)) :-))  I had to settle for something a whole heap less  :'( :'(  Proves I have good taste though  :D :D

This is so much fun reading this thread, but I haven't bought anything exciting lately, even though I work in a shopping centre. I work at Garden City, so if there is a catch up soon, I would like to throw my hat in :)

Gosh Kezza, I'm at Garden City at least twice a week  :D and always up for a cuppa. Think I read that Meaganjane was heading up to GC sometime soon so a coffee together sound like a great idea.

PS I bought a Newwave 5 in 1 cooker yesterday. Used the pressure cooker function for a chicken curry last night.  It was very quick and a vast improvement on the boiled meat and white sauce that came out of my mother's pressure cooker. YUK!!

Well I bought a roomba irobot vacuum cleaner on the weekend. DS has christened it Larry and sings a little song about being 'happy as Larry happy as Larry'.  :D I am more than happy with Larry. I can't add a photo so here is a link.

You will love the pc Jan. I haven't got the newwave cooker just a standard pc.  I wouldn't look at one for years thinking that they couldn't possibly do a very good job, but I've been so surprised, I love it.  There are some really good cookbooks out there too. Enjoy.  :D

I've ordered a lens for my camera and a good tripod.  :D

The two best PC cook books IMO is the Womens Weekly and the Susan Gibbs one. You can now get the WW one from the supermarket for $13 and every recipe (especially the Osso Bucco) have been deeeeeeeeeeelicous.
