Just had a minor cook up Chookie. I enjoy it. I'm looking forward to seeing how the SD loaves from Tenina go. It seemed a bit fiddly but if the bread is nice I will continue to make it. WE have lots of favourite breads now. :) :) :)

Chilling out as yesterday DD ,DS and myself were in Melbourne for lots of appointments . We shopped for DD dinner dance ! The afternoon was all 4 appointments , including flu injections - I had to have the first one kids a little apprehensive . " better than our school ones " , they should have faith in me , part of their independence , finding their own way . Very lucky to squeeze in skin specialist for DD only 15 , black spot on her face had me worried , all good . Drive back though strong winds and heavy rain . DD and DS both slept for awhile then ate then homework ! What we looked like as other cars passed by with computer and iPad going , rear light on for hand writing . It's just what you do .

DD and I visited the Grand Designs Show at the Excel Exhibition Center in London today. Not too busy with visitors.

K Atie, those little visitors like to come inside once it turns cold.
DD has had visitors like yours. She has one of those plumbed in vacuum systems and inadvertently sucked one up.

CC, that would be very interesting.  We picked up some good ideas when we built our house at Cherokee, at a building expo.

That would have been fun CC. I enjoy watching Grand Designs on TV. We also picked up ideas at this sort of thing. I also saved cuttings from magazines ad newspapers showing colour schemes etc that I liked.

I'm not really doing much atm as I have a horrid bout of hayfever I can't shake. Medication only stops it for a few hours, so I am a real misery guts.

Sorry to hear that you are having a tough time, Cookie.  Hope you can get some effective medication sorted out soon.

I’ve been gardening. Managed to pull out an Ivy that had become a problem. Even with gardening gloves on my poor hands and nails look terrible. Now sitting in the garden enjoying a cuppa.
