Job well done Hally, good for you.
Right now I'm doing NOTHING. Had four 8 & 9 year olds over for slumber party last night. They were asleep by 10.30 - not too bad, but up at 5.30am! One had to leave at 8 so gave them breakfast early - waffles with choc sauce, maple syrup & ice cream, they loved it! Last one left at 10.30 then clean up began, then lunch, now couch surfing with the forum.

Kitchen all clean, all cupboards cleaned out and rearranged. Every thing sparkling and smelling fresh. I'm exhausted now :)

Mandi, put your feet up girl and have a rest.  I'm exhausted just thinking about all the work you've done these past few days.  What a great effort.

DH prepared a lasagne including home made pasta, pressure cooked a whole chicken to make chicken stock and to use the chicken in a quick chicken curry, beef casserole, grocery shopping, watched 1/2 match of DS's football, doing some work and lots of time spent cleaning up the mess made by the new puppy. It's amazing how much time the puppy takes up. i thought I was ready for it but I'm having to give up gym because I just can't fit it in, I will still go to my personal trainer at 6am tomorrow and he will just need to cry if he wakes up when I'm getting ready. He needs a lot of attention and interaction particularly early in the morning which is when I normally go to the gym. Still getting up 1 1/2 hrs before the rest of the house but just never enough time in the day.

Wouldn't it be nice if sitting on the couch thinking about cooking actually made food appear on the table? :-))

I just went for a long walk along the beach because I didn't get to the gym this morning. It was very nice in the sun. Days like this make me really appreciate the simple things in life :D
