Has anyone made candles in a Thermomix?
« on: August 09, 2013, 04:28:31 pm »
I did a search on here to see if there were any threads that would answer my question or any discussion about this already but most of the results I generated in the search engine were about birthday candles.

I ask because in my Music-teaching days I had a collection of nice beeswax candles to give to choirs at Christmas, but I left them in the car and they melted into wonky shapes.

Still very nice wax though and I'm wondering if I could do anything with them in the Thermomix.

mmm not sure that would be a good idea, aren't you supposed to use indirect heat anyway ie water bath?
