The Anzac macadamia biscuits have proved very popular. I added A 1/3 more butter and syrup hoping for something more like a butternut biscuit. This didn’t happen. They had a more intense syrup flavour. Will make again.

I made this tuna slice for a visitor tomorrow for lunch and will freeze some for DD’s next trip over https://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=10715.0. Also a red lentil soup for myself and 2 different alternative ‘tomato’ sauces for a friend with kidney disease who can’t eat tomato because of its high potassium. Firstly made one called Nomato sauce then a roasted red capsicum one using some of the nomato in place of the tomato sauce in that recipe. Both batches will get the taste test tomorrow and I think they’ll get the thumbs up as they tasted pretty good to me.

Nice experiment Judy.
Made Lemon pickle, easy and nice but only keeps for 1 month max. Also Blood Orange and Cognac marmalade. Very nice. Also Lemon slice, the one made with biscuits and condensed milk. It has been a good year for lemons.

Looked for Kiffir lime marmalade, apparently you can use the actual kiffir lime fruit !

Huge pot of vege stew then made a pot of mashed veges with those that I couldn't fit into the stew pot and used the broth off the mashed veges to go into a mushroom tetrazzini.

I made a cake from fruit soaked in tea for several hours. It was a cinnamon and orange tea so the fruit is slightly flavoured.
I also made a loaf from Cookidoo. It’s a seeded bread loaf. It’s rather tasty as it has lots of seeds rye and wholemeal flour.

I created a new recipe for chicken wings. I used RTE method of using a little baking powder and dried  Japanese spices. Shook all together in a plastic bage and grilled in AF. Very tasty.

I made a Zucchini, potato and cheese soup today using this recipe and changed ingredients to GF,
stock cubes, spring onion tops only and goats cheese. I haven’t tasted it yet. https://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/courgette-potato-cheddar-soup

It sounds delicious Judy. I’ve made a sort of seeded bread today. I’m not too sure about it.

I try to cook what the GC like when they come for dinner on Monday nights. The previous meal was chicken Parma. Last week we went to a local pub, known for their Parma. GC declared, mine were better. That’s a relief.

DS keeps asking me to make some biscuits.  I seem to have lost my mojo when it comes to cooking.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

Mab, I’m amazed that you are still cooking good family meals.

Yesterday I made curried mince, loaded with veggies.
2 different dips. One based on hummus and roasted red capsicum, and one with ricotta and veggies. Also bread with sprouted grain flour.
