I did a car boot sale with our friend and neighbour today. Made a profit and more important got rid of unwanted items. The car came home with less items than we took so that was good ;D

Went to a White Elephant in the village in the morning, did some cooking and gardening in the afternoon - early finish though, lost the sun around 4.00 pm and it immediately started getting colder, so came inside and sat down with a book!

Good one Denise, it's nice to make a little and unload unwanted items.
Your Sunday sounded very nice Marina.

It got cold here about lunch time yesterday, it didn't help that we had a big hole in the bathroom, to outside, and the back door open.  The joys of repairs to bathrooms. ;)

Great time for me to bake, get dinner ready, and prep for the weeks meals.
Today at work. ;D

My Thermomix,  Kitchen Aid, Pizza oven, Nu Wave 5 in 1, Spatulas, all brings love, laughter, happiness, and great food  to my kitchen.

Looking forward to finish gardening in backyard. Then to start on front. Cooking pies in pie maker and babysitting 2 dogs.

I've done the ironing and washing. When DH wakes up from his afternoon nap I will zap round with my new Dyson toy.

I've been shopping with a friend today. It was lovely just browsing at all the things you could buy. I did buy birthday cards,a gift for our great-nephew and summer pjs for Louis.

I went to the podiatrist this morning and then did the shopping. Tomorrow is hair cut day and a visit to the Optometrist before my visit to the Opthamolgist next month. ( I think I have them the correct way round)

I do it the other way around cookie. The Opthamologist first rather than the Optometrist telling me I need new glasses then the Opthamologist saying he will do an op and my new glasses not being needed.

I met the Probus ladies for morning tea (brunch for me, I ordered a small pizza!) then onto the nursing home where I was shocked to learn we had lost one of our lovely ladies.  A sombre mood there today.
Home to ring some hotels to find out who is doing Christmas in July this year for our Probus group.

What is the op on your eye?  Laser?

Sorry to hear of the loss of one of your ladies, an unexpected passing is always just that much harder on everyone.

No op needed yet Marina but he will tell me when and if I do need it, he's just not prepared to tell me what he's going to do until the time comes as it may never progress to that stage.  It's called ERM, Epiretinal Membrane.

Judy very upsetting for your Mum and Geoff.
I gave Ral a small chain saw on a long pole for Xmas and yesterday he did some trimming of the very large Apple tree in our house yard. We are now burning the cut branches.
The Bulbdog puppy is keeping us busy. It has a very strong personality and very playful.
