Lots of silverbeet.  Made pastry triangles.  With ricotta, feta
, Parmesan , egg and silverbeet.

I love those little morsels Chookie, everyone who tries them does too.
Today I’ve made roasted pumpkin soup and sweet potato & broccoli mash from my TMX Baby & Toddler Book which I haven’t used once GS started school 7 years ago.  It will now come in handy for some mushy food and soft food ideas as I have now commenced eating again.  I’ve just done some shopping for more ingredients for some of the recipes, it’s great being in the kitchen again.

Sounds like a tasty start on your new eating regime, Judy.  I am sure you will really enjoy them.

How wonderful for you Judy.
No cooking here today.

Judy, life will feel like normal. Great.
I have gone a bit obsessive over sweet potato.  Made soup with sweet potato, crushed tinned tomato and chicken stock.  Added a few cooked noodles.  Quite nice.

Thanks ladies.  Not quite ‘normal’ Chookie but it’s nice to go to the next stage.

Do you grow your own sweet potato Chookie. We have had a fair bit of success this year.

Cookie, I think it is too cold here for growing sweet potatoes. Even tomatoes  are a bit of a struggle.
Yesterday I added ground up Pistachios and Cardamon to the Surprise biscuit recipe. Very nice. Also made the Sicilian orange cake again for my blog. Made muffin size cakes.

I have a Classic Loaf rising and also my rye SD loaf.
A couple of days ago I made a delicious pumpkin fruit cake. It has no added fat or sugar. I will post the recipe.

During Asparagus season we eat a lot of Asparagus.  I always snap off the tips and discard the bottoms.  No longer.
Cut the tough bottoms into  cm pieces and pop into TMX. Zap for 2 seconds at speed 4.
Add fresh bread crumbs, a little oil, S and P,
Zap 1 second Speed 4 .
