Trudy kindly pointed out that I left the water out in the ingredient list.  I have amended the recipe.

Chookie when do I add the orange and lemon juices. I am presuming it is when I add in the butterfly but can't see it in the recipe??

Sorry Kim.  I have amended the recipe.  It has to set as part of the jelly.

Ok thanks. Put it in with butterfly and it has luckily turned out ok. Looks like it has set up nicely in the fridge. Boys enjoyed licking the bowl ;)

Your flummery  sounds lovely Chookie  :)

My gran used to make flummery when we were kids in Scotland  and I hated it.
It had oatmeal in it and was very grainy

MF,  i think yours was probably the REAL flummery.  This may be an Aussie adaption.

Well I am very glad the Aussies adapted it cos the Scottish version was yuk and yours looks and sounds delicious.
I hated having to eat it at my grans and always pretended I was full but then I didn't get any lollies . Poor little me  ;D
