Hally, I really enjoyed the butter chicken.  For me, it's the nicest one I've made so far, and so quick (20 mins once stabilised).  Can't wait for DH to get home to try it.  ;D

This recipe used 4 marylands (which I removed the skin before cooking) and once cooked, the meat just pulled away from the bones with my fork. Lots of lovely sauce.

Usually with left overs I put into containers for DH for work, not today, I froze the 2 that was left with the sauce, and put the rice in a separate container.  Will make for a lovely, quick meal one night for the 2 of us.

For the garam masala, I do make up my own, which I think from the aroma alone is better than the bought stuff. Also instead of buying a tin of tomato puree, I blitzed up a tin of whole toms in the tm to make the puree, otherwise I think I followed the recipe as is.  :D

This is one of the marylands.

Julie, I'm glad you tried that butter chicken I've looked at it a few times and have been turned off by the marylands, I don't eat drumsticks so we don't have them at home. I might make it and substitute just thighs. Do you think you could do it with boneless thighs?

Wonder, I can understand your feelings regarding drumsticks, I have never been a huge fan myself but I'm glad I used them, they cooked so well in the pc, just melt in the mouth.  Very happy and I won't hesitate to use them again now (in the pc), as long as the skin is taken off.

If you want to use bone less thighs, it would take far less time or they'd go like rubber I think.  Maybe try 7 - 10 mins then do a quick release and check.  You could finish off on the stove top if they still need extra time.  Better to under cook where you can finish off, then to overcook and it be awful.  At least you will know after the first time.  :)

Hally, will have a look for Jimmy's recipe, I'm sure it's in my files somewhere and will try it too one day.

Thanks Amy.  :D

Impossible Spinach Quiche from this site. We had veggies and popcorn cauliflower with it.
