Title: Non Dairy Healthy Ice Cream
Post by: winosandfoodies on December 14, 2009, 01:18:30 am
Raspberry Ice Cream:

6 firm bananas
150 grams raspberries:

Peel and chop Bananas into chunks, freeze overnight. Freeze Raspberries. Next day remove fruit from freezer and soften for 20 minutes. Place fruit into Thermomix and blend until smooth. I blended on speed 9 about (I think) 15 seconds.:

not sure how to add photo so go to my web site:

The recipe originates from a Jill Dupliex cook book.

Looks great.  Have frozen my bananas and put the raspberries on my shopping list.  Thanks Barbara.

this is more a sorbet than ice cream because ice cream has cream in it. BTW you can use Alpro cream which is soya based if you are - like myself - avoiding dairy for health reasons.inkha
