HI guys,
I've got a little silicone cleaning brush for my drink bottle and have found it's really useful at getting stuff out from around and under the blades. I picked mine up in Woolworths but you can get them in loads of places:

Just thought I'd share in case anyone else would find it useful :)

Thanks for that. It looks quite sturdy.

Good idea! I've seen these in target too.

I highly reccomend it :) Had mine for ages, and only got me machine yesterday and already had the brush and it worked a treat :) In fact, it's a useful little brush all round!

We manufacture little twisted wire cleaning brushes which are perfect for cleaning under the blades - and great if you are a cake decorator as well.

These look like those we buy from superkitchenmachine (http://thermomix.superkitchenmachine.com/) - are they double ended like Helene's?
-
These are very similar to the Superkitchen Machine ones. I have had them manufactured and they are double ended soft nylon brushes on a stainless steel wire (no rusting) and are tipped with plastic at the ends so as not to scratch the bowl. $6.95 for 2 delivered in Australia.

I am quite surprised to hear you manufacture these yourself as all the ones I have seen are manufactured in China in huge quantities. It must make them quite expensive to do that in Australia or maybe I am mistaken and you are not in Au.
The superkitchenmachine has been selling these for quite some time and at a good price to us. Unfortunately the cost of shipping from Canada keeps going up and up and with our dollar going down it makes competition tough. Still Helene, as a long term forum member and a true Thermomix expert and enthusiast, does her best to give added value to us by being helpful to all Thermo owners and consultants alike and is always there with the right answers to some pretty tricky questions . Her recipes are quite original and are at least triple tested before posting as are Tenina's. You can certainly trust their photos to be a true representation of what they cook and we all want to emulate their professionalism. If there is a problem both experts are always happy help.
We are really blessed on this forum to have so many wanting to share unconditionally.

Sorry Gert, I haven't explained myself clearly and certainly don't mean to misrepresent myself. I have them manufactured under TM Essentials in China. I had my first order arrive into Australia around January 2013. I offer a range of accessories that I either source or manufacture in China and then import. I am based in Buderim in Queensland and launched my range of Themomix accessories in January 2013. We have been adding to the range based on feedback and requests from customers.
I'm a huge fan of Tenina - her books sit proudly on my shelf and for Helene in Canada.
Cheers Debbie

I must admit I admire Helene for the way she forged ahead in an unknown area up there in Canada. I also love her to bits as she has done rather a lot for the forum and forum festers. It must have been really hard going when she started up. I think of her everyday when I use my iPad with it's Kribbitt.

Me too. Couldn't have said it better cookie. Her products are brilliant. Love my little brushes and spatula and kribbit. And don't forget her super scrubbies. They are the most useful little thing.

Looks great. Thanks for the tip Vix. I'll look out for them at Office Works when I'm there to buy back-to-school supplies.

I bought one of these today at Kmart for $2. Works great around the blades etc.
-
My DH loves the red one I bought, it helps him get the rice out of the steaming basket.
-
Aldi have had cleaning brushes in this week that work really well for cleaning the TM bowl - only $1.39.

I love the colours too. Oh for an Aldi.
