Kim, if you are looking at purchasing an outdoor heater have a good look around. There are so many options now available now and they all have their pros and cons. The strip heaters we purchased are great for our area because they provide instant heat and could be mounted up high, easily plugged into an outdoor powerpoint and were a fairly cheap option. They can't be moved around though which suited us but it depends on your specific space.

I bought a new rug...for my old horse.
Just to keep him warm on these cooler nights we are having. He is getting on (23 this year) and I've noticed this last few mornings he has walked a lot in his night yard, so he's trying to keep warm.
I'll give him extra yummies tonight and a toasty rug and he'll be happy.
I do spoil my 'boys'.

At 23 he deserves a new rug, he doesn't need to be cold. How long is an average horse's life?

Mcmich - the thing is - he has rugs, and plenty of them, just none for 'not too cold just a little bit cool' nights! The others ones he has are for when it is down to 10 degrees or below that - they are toasty warm ones.
The average life for a horse - well 23 used to be ancient, but not any more as we are looking after horses so much better now. I have a funny feeling this old boy is going to hang around for a lot longer yet - he could go on past 30. I just want him to be happy here in his retirement.

Maddie I am so glad you do all the shopping in here. I love the things you buy. I look at them wistfully, longingly, thinking of all the things I could do with them. Then I wake up to reality and remember that my cupboards are stuffed full and I cannot fit anything else in unless I have a clean out. And ... well ... I just can't get rid of any of my things.
Keep shopping girl - love the things you show us.

Mmm done a lot of shopping here in Singapore.
Little India today, hoping I can bring some spices home. I think they will be ok if they are sealed.

Returned from Honolulu last night - not much shopping done this trip due to having kids with us.
I do wonder what customs thought of us however as we did buy a new kitchen garbage bin ($50 in Oahu compared to close to $200 here) and a new kitchen tap (touch to turn on and off!) LOL.
