My DH has a bus license. He is cute to me but probably no one else. I don't drink much so am happy to be a driver, BUT I will not tuck you all in each evening.
No trains to Margaret River , there is probably a bus but I wouldn't reccomend it.

So now we have  2 ppl with a bus license. Sounds good. Sounds easy. We will   see what CP thinks. She is probably going nuts by now but she is also probably used to dealing with a group with different wants and needs.

Depending on numbers I know that where I can get a bus from you can also hire a 12(?) seater that you can drive on a normal license ...

If need be Cookie DH could keep Chookies DH company  ;) ;) :D :D

Gert, i love blue cheese.

Bus sounds good but dont know anything about buses.

H :)

What about a really smelly red rind cheese?

I don't know anything about busses either but Faffa says you can rent a 12 seater and not know a thing about driving one. You think they  would rent a bus to a 68 year old piss pot  fat wench like me?   If I can drive a Thermomix surely a bus can't be that hard.

CP will you have any kind of bouncers to control the over excited (possible pissed) Thermomixes.
Might pay to consider that ;D (not pointing any fingers)

l am just sitting back here laughing and wishing that l lived in perth
(it would be a hoot to all travell in a bus  together from perth )
it takes about 3 hours  from perth to margaret river driving but the bus takes takes about double that time and sometimes you have to swap buses

thats so nice of your husband judy  it will only be for a few days
and you will be so energize when you get home . maybe send lots of yummy snacks  with him  so he will not miss you so much
it would be good to meet you  and the other forum members too

l am soo excited about this weekend  l cant wait
l might check out target when l am in maragret river next  week and buy myself some new pj just for the weekend
please let me know cp if there is something l can do to help

That's ok Uni . . . we certainly appreciate your invitation to all we "eastsiders" to have the East ForumFest at your place!!  We could setup video conferencing between the two groups and all sorts of things . . .!!!  Can you just imagine?? a whole weekend at the foot of the kitchen master (sorry . .mistress!!)  I'll be there with bells on . . . . .  ;D ;D ;D

Seriously, Uni   . . have really appreciated all your comments and input . . !!  Thanks heaps!! :D

If that's how you travel so lightly Gretchen - no but I'm sure it will be a lot colder down there than up in Cairns so perhaps you should pack a pair.  If you can't buy them up there, give me your size and I'll pick up something down here for you.

Nazar, I know the break will do me the world of good - I've had outings with the carers but I haven't had holiday respite without DH for over 8 years and would you believe Perth was the place I went then.  I went with a girlfriend but we didn't get down to Margaret River (another story there :-))). It will be lovely to meet you all.

CP I am happy to do whatever you plan but like Gretchen, I will probably be more of a looker than a doer as I will benefit more from having the break and not having to organise anything except look after myself. Just being there will be enough for me - I'm sure it will be a fun weekend.
