No Amy, I microwaved some whole potatoes until 3/4 cooked then sliced them and browned them in a pan sprayed with olive oil - the healthy way  ;)

Most of the time our lunch is the main meal 50plus - it can be anywhere from between 12.30 - 3pm depending on what we are doing and for tea we grab anything.  When you are retired I find it easier this way and it fits in better with DH going to bed so early, sometimes as early as 5.30 these days.  Even when we have visitors, it's always an invite for lunch and I can't remember the last time we went out for an evening meal.

That's sensible JD and better for you to have your main meal during the day, you can work it off. LOL

I have leftovers for lunch but we eat our main meal about 4-4.30 pm as we are up at 4 in the morning, Grumpy is hungry by then. because he WON"T have any lunch, he will eat fruit at work but not much else, not so bad except he then gets the munchies about 6.30 - 7pm and we are in bed by 9pm at the latest.
