Warm here yesterday and today. Our air con went clunk very loudly yesterday evening. DH went onto the roof early this morning and removed the fan and motor. He fiddled with it all day and made some bits on the lathe and it is now going again. DD laughed when I said I stood out by the ladder with my phone in hand in case he fell!!! I think I have almost persuaded him to get a split system as the evaporative dies every summer.

I’m really over this summer.  It’s a full time job keeping the garden alive and by the weather reports it’s another week of heat!

It's snowing here. A wet muddy walk with Chance this morning.
I always worry when my DH decides to work on the roof Cookie, so I understand why you stood with phone in your hand. ;D

Same here, Trudy.
CC, I would go and play happily in the snow.   You would probably enjoy a little heat.

Good morning everyone.  A great lightening and thunder show in the early hours of this morning, some beautiful pictures on a local FB group this morning.  I’m sure my windows were rattling though, it was really angry thunder!  A bit of rain too but not enough though.
Enjoy your week, it looks as if the heat is going nowhere.

It's certainly going to be a very Australian Australia Day!

Good morning everyone.  I think the scenery is what makes these races interesting Chookie.  I don’t know how the riders do it in such high temperatures though.  The spectator numbers were down quite a bit this year but I for one can certainly understand that.

I agree. The same with the Tour de France.

Hope thereis some relief for those suffering the hot weather.
