It probably gave him a feeling of being needed Chookie, very nice of him.
Cookie it seems WA isn’t having as hot a summer as it normally does, I clearly remember you having much hotter weather than us last year.  Maybe your turn will come, either that or you’ve had your fair share of the heat in past years and now we in the eastern states are having ours.

Take care in the terrible heatwave friends. :-*

You have a very good neighbour Chookie. I'm sure your hens enjoyed his company while you were away.

A very cold bright day here today.

A good neighbour is wonderful.

Weather cooling down now, fortunately, it is horrible in the city once everything heats up and starts radiating its own heat in addition to the sun's efforts.  Apparently it was over 60c on the surface of one of the tennis courts at the Australian Open a couple of days ago.  Those players should not have had to play in those conditions.

Good mormong everyone. A slightly better day here today, only 36 degrees! I’m sleeping well in spite of the heat, the overhead fan does a wonderful job.

Good morning everyone.  Much cooler at the moment but we are expecting 31 deg here today.

Chookie, you are very lucky to have such a good neighbour.  I am sure he will appreciate what you give him.

Overhead fans are wonderful for a good nights sleep.  I agree about the tennis.

It's rained nonstop all day here. Chance I got very wet this morning walking. We did meet Todd and his owner on our walk. They were on their way home and we had only just started.

Morning all.
Looks like another hot week. Only good thing is that the veggies are growing like mad.
We don’t have overhead fans, which I think are fab.   We do have a Dyson upright fan that we can shift around. It oscillates and has 10 speed settings.
Spent yesterday unpacking , washing and making Plum Jam.
The lady at the Creswick Farmers Market who sells nuts seeds and flour, loved the SD olive loaf that I made for her. She said she wasn’t having a lot of luck making SD. Between customers I wrote down the basic recipe for her and gave her a few tricks.  She realised that her dough was too dry.

Good morning everyone, not quite as hot as it’s been but still far too hot for me.
Your advice is sure to give that lady some success with her SD loaves Chookie
Stay cool (or warm for you Denise) and enjoy your Sunday.

Good Afternoon  ;D

Hope everyone is surviving the heat/cold. Got a call into work early this morning (so much for the year of saying NO) only commited to 6 hours though and it was a very cruisy shift. Don't know why they needed me really.
