I saw where Melbourne had had a downpour. The poor horse that had to be put down.

Morning all.
I don’t often get very angry but yesterday I had to go to Centerlink to claim a Medibank refund.  I was told that the wait wouldn’t be long, then next in line.  What they didn’t say was that  one person was handling claims and she was out to lunch.

Good morning everyone, quite cool here again today - very un-spring like.

I know what you mean Chookie, I've had to chase up both Mum and DH's expired Medicare card lately and since they combined Centrelink and Medicare offices the wait is ridiculous.  At least the chairs are comfortable and I got to do a bit of people watching which I rarely get to do.  That in itself is very interesting.

Good morning everyone.  Another overcast day with some rain.

Chookie, I understand your frustration.  I hate going to our Centrelink office they are so rude sometimes and not very helpful.

I didn't realise Medicare and Centre link were combined. It shows that I never go there. Our GP bulk bills and my specialists all send the bill to Medicare who deposit the tiny refund into our bank account.
I did go to Centrelink when I turned 65 to try for a pension. They didn't like me at all and gave me nothing, it was an experience being there though. DH has to go occasionally to sort out his Mum's pension, house and other stuff.

Hello all, I had to do a complaint at Cenerlink yesterday for FTB.
I got sick of waiting, so rang the head office complaints number and got straight through.

We came home from Melbourne yesterday.   We left the Swanston Hotel at 10.30 am and headed to Vic Market for Brunch. That terrible event in the CBD could  have been seen  from our room.  Glad we had left.
No burning off here after Sunday. Last night we burnt the last of the tree trimmings.
Nice day today. Moderate temperature.
Specialist has arranged for some breathing tests for Ral , in Ballarat.

I could have seen it too from my room there when we were at the forum. Scary stuff.

It certainly is.  DD and I usually have to go to the Target where the drama was yesterday. We always need to buy a cardigan or jumper!!! Bourke St is getting a sad name.
Chookie I hope Ral is ok.  It's good that the tests are in Ballarat. I'm also very glad you had left before the awful happening. It would shock you to the core.

This is what we had for Brunch at the Cafe at the Vic Market.  Ral said the Smashed Avo was the best that he had had.  Mine was Chicken Pate with Brioche and salad.  There was a small dish of jam.  Don’t know what that was about.
