It's cool and rainy here in WA so I decided this soup would be lovely for our dinner.  I made it exactly as per the recipe and we all absolutely love it!   I expect to be making this soup often.  Thank you for this wonderful recipe.   :)

I made this recently and we loved it although I thought the flavour was very mild.  Next time I will follow the suggested changes, especially the extra mustard.  Thank you for this yummy recipe.

Hello Uni,  When you say
"add prawns and fish sauce  2 min 90 speed 1 reverse"  do you mean the fish sauce from a bottle and how much please?
Thanks,  Ann

Soups / Re: Curried Pumpkin and Lentil Soup

Delicious easy, quick soup.  Perfect for this cold, rainy, dark wintery day!  I had all the ingredients on hand which was a bonus.  My lentils didn't puree fully but I still love it.  Maybe I will try grinding them first as a previous poster suggested.  Will definitely be making this often!  Thank you.   :)

Yum, yum, yum!  Didn't have cream so used light cream cheese.  No white wine so I put in a slurp of champagne.  Going back for seconds right now.  So quick and easy to make.  Thanks for an outstanding recipe!   :)

A work colleague of my husband suggested we try this recipe.  I made it exactly to the recipe and we both love it.  We both think it is full of flavour.  I would like to try the suggested Tbsp of French onion soup mix and Tbsp of curry powder in it as well sometime because that sounds delicious too.

Eating this right now and it is amazing!  I only had a very large tin of 4 bean mix so I used that instead of 2 tins of kidney beans.  We are eating in a bowl - no corn chips - with cheese sprinkled on the top and a blob of sour cream.  I may have to have this every winter Saturday!  So, so yum!

Thank you Jo!

My husband and I really loved this risotto.  I read all the reviews and made some changes accordingly.  I increased the rice to 230 grams.  I used spring onions instead of leek.  I chopped the bacon and the spring onions in the bowl and they looked fine.  When it finished it looked really soupy so I put it on for 5 more minutes.  Then when I poured it into the thermoserver I could see that it was a lot thicker on the bottom so maybe it did not need the extra five minutes but a good stir!  Anyway, it did turn out perfect once I stirred in the parmesan so I am altering my copy of the recipe to include the extra five minutes.

It was so, so delicious and will be a regular meal for us.  Thank you Cookie1 and all the reviewers.

Oh my goodness this soup is so delicious!  I used cashews instead of almonds.  I  could eat this every day!  Might try grinding all the rice sometime, just to see how that works out too.  A huge Thank You Jo!

I made this tonight and we loved it.  It sure was quick and easy.  I had a lot of sauce, same as other reviewers.  I don't think I actually  put cinnamon in - the jar was unmarked and I tried to fool myself that it was cinnamon, but I really don't think it was!!

I am going to make this again and again, trying other reviewers suggestions and alterations and also using cinnamon from a labelled jar!

Thanks for such a delicious, quick and versatile recipe!   :)

This was the first Thermomix meal I made along with my consultant.  She wanted us to make soup and bread so I asked if I could choose the soup.  The flavours were absolutely beautiful.  I love that there is not a huge amount of cheese in the recipe but you can definitely taste the cheese in the soup.  What a great start to my Themromix cooking!  :)

This was my choice for my first Thermomix meal cooked by myself (without my consultant).  It was a great choice!  It was easy and delicious.  I really impressed my husband!  I made the garlic rice from this forum  to go with it and kept it warm in the thermoserver while the chicken cooked. I threw a handful of roasted cashews on top of each serve.  Yum!  :)

Hello everyone!  I have been stalking this forum ever since I ordered my Thermomix!  ;D  It is arriving tomorrow and my consultant is making the Thick Broccoli and Cheddar soup and buckwheat rolls.  I asked her if I could choose the soup and I can't wait to try it after all the fabulous reviews it has.

Thank you everyone for creating this awesome forum.  Everyone seems so kind and caring.   :)
