I'm left handed too Chookie. Will make no further comment on how wonderful we are etc...........

On year at school on Left Handers Day I made a special certificate for all the lefties in my class. I had so many complaints from the parents that I had to declare the next day right handers day and do the same for them.

Don't you just hate it when you have to write right up against the edge of a book stapled on the left? That is my lifes big bugbear.

Snow, how wonderful.  I am working on DH and DD to come to Canada next Christmas. I would love to experience one white Christmas.
It seems hard to imagine snow when it was 39.20C or 102.560F here yesterday. Not as nasty as all the 40+ degrees Adelaide had a while ago.

Brazen's Mums cake came out of the oven latish last night and smelled lovely. I cut it this morning so DD could take some to work and it looks lovely and moist. In fact the very centre isn't quite cooked (my fault, not the cakes) so tonight we'll have the centre of the cake and custard for sweets.
I also made the Blue Cheese and Walnut shortbread from the Festive book. It isn't cooked yet as I put it directly into the freezer. We had a prawn and salmon risotto for dinner. It was the best risotto we've ever had and I couldn't work out why, then I realised it was the first time I'd ever used the butterfly to make risotto. It sure makes a difference.

Hi and welcome Melina. You have received the highest compliment ever, your Mum asking you to cook for her. Well done. Continue to enjoy your Thermomix.
