Looking forward to all your photos now Chookie.

Iíll run you through what I do Chookie. These instructions are for the iPad for anyone else wanting to know how to add photos to their posts.

Start off making a comment or posting a recipe.
Just below the box youíve typed in click on Attachments and other options.
Scroll down to Choose File, click on that. 3 options will come up, click on Photo Library.
Choose the photo you want, it will then tell you the actual size of the photo chosen. This can be too big for the forum so I click on that wording (itís white printing on a black box) then I choose Medium.
On the RHS up the top of this box youíre in is the word ĎUseí, click on that.
You will now see the attachment in the ĎChoose Fileí box.
Click on ĎPostí in the bottom hand corner.

I hope this becomes clear to you as you go through each stage. The photo will appear on the same post as your recipe or comment.

I think we just expect her recipes to be spot on every time Marina but not every recipe can be a winner for all of us. Lucky you were able to use the mushroom sauce component to save the day. I am looking forward to her recipe book coming out though and will definitely buy it for DD2.

It will still taste brilliant cookie, it is annoying when that happens though.

Itís a big job when you have so many recipes cookie.  I spent 8.5 hours on mine yesterday and I have yet to sort the ones I saved into some sort of order.

Glad Iím not the only one obsessed with printing out recipes. Your sentiments Marina were exactly what I was thinking as I was looking at each recipe but I was really brutal with my culling as I know Iíll never cook the majority of those recipes. Many of mine were printed on the back of other printing, some dating back to 2005 and beyond but I have a new pile with blank backs to now use for other things, probably that will also be for recipes! Itís certainly an addiction but a perfectly harmless one.

K Atie thatís a long time to be on Lís and then go onto Pís for a further period of time. How easy it was in my day, you did a driving test with a policeman as soon as you felt capable and went straight into driving without any plates at all. Different times back then and itís good to hear that the rules are so much stricter now although the road toll is still way too high.

This morning I did the finishing touches to the spring cleaning of the 2 spare bedrooms, I took advantage of 2 fine days to get all the bedding washed. I spent all afternoon going through a filing  cabinet drawer full of recipes Iíd torn out of magazines for many years. Culled 3/4 of them and only kept recipes I think might be suitable now. Recycle bin is pretty full for pick up this week.

Best to be prepared and get in early with your permit request Marina. Do you have any idea how much work there is to do, has anyone sent photos?

I made this one today https://www.recipetineats.com/shirred-eggs-baked-eggs/  and although the taste was good the texture wasnít right for me and I could only eat the egg.
