Hope the new shoes are OK Marina but I’d certainly have that cortisone injection if you need it, you want to enjoy your holiday.

Yes it worked well Marina, still time consuming but the finish is 100% better than any of my  attempts to wash them before, I did add 2 additional steps that were not in the directions though. I  read the reviews and some said they still ended up with streaks so I decided I’d squirt each panel down with the hose to get rid of any dust before using the cleaning bit, obviously the outsides only. I just squirted the insides with a water bottle sprayer. After using the window vac on the clean window I followed it up with a glass cleaning cloth and they were perfect. It was a hot day here so I could only do the windows out the back under the pergola as the sun doesn’t hit them.

Last night we had prawn crepes (from my freezer) and I made this Garlic-Parmesan Roasted Cauli https://dishingouthealth.com/parmesan-roasted-cauliflower/. On our recent cruise my DF tried crumbed cauli at the buffet and he was blown away with the taste. I found this recipe and it hit the spot, better than the ship version he said. I par-steamed the small florets the night before for 6 minutes to give them a head start in the a/f, I always find raw cauli takes forever to bake and neither of us enjoy uncooked veggies. I only did 1/2 a small Cauli but used the full recipe for the coating and he has enough for another serve. I added the crushed garlic to the coating mixture, not when the Parmesan was added. I had a few small pieces and yes, it was very nice.

Another batch of blueberry muffins for DF, he loves them. I can almost make them with my eyes closed now.

I hope so Chookie. Had no idea how to follow the instructions to put it together but I treated it like a jigsaw puzzle and if a part fitted then that’s where it must go! Not a good idea to start this process at 10 pm though.

I hope we can catch up too Chookie, have not yet decided where and when our next cruise will happen. I’ll give you a ring on Sunday night.

Today I bought a K’A’RCHER window vac, not cheap so it had better be good. Waiting for a cooler day to try it out. Can’t post a picture as somehow I’ve lost the ability to be able to reduce the size of my pictures these days.

Made chicken stock yesterday with 2 Costco roast chicken carcasses from my freezer (courtesy of son-in-law) so will be making egg drop soup tonight. Slowly but surely getting through my freezer stock which is taking the easy way out at the moment because I haven’t felt like cooking much since our cruise.

Chookie I understand completely, They never seemed to be able to get blood from me even if they got the needle into the right place, sometimes it would start to run then just stop dead. I had them puzzled for years but nowadays I always have success at my local pathology centre, not so good in hospitals though. The nurse always has to call a doctor to do it.  Loved what you did for these ladies.

It sounds like a nice day for the boys Chookie. Do they cook at home at all?

I think I did too much today as my back is giving me curry tonight.  Heavy gym session then swept paths and tidied DD’s agapanthus patch before going onto Bunnings for some plants for my garden. Made some tomato soup then later in the day planted out the 6 shrubs and 2 punnets of petunias. During the afternoon I also did general tidying and cutting back in the garden.

It’s good to know they’re checking frequently Margaret. Let’s hope they come up with some answers to your problem.
