Love the gingerbread house AB. My kids still make them even though they are 15, 18 and 19. !! I love the smell of gingerbread as it wafts through the house!! enjoy.

Busy busy, cooking packing cleaning washing.

2 lovely things happened today.

Went to my lady for my waxing, she had the carpet man there. Had cp with me, the carpet an needd an extra pair of feet for a few minutes, so cp helped out. He gave him $5, bless

Then went to the flower farm to buy flowers for my lovely neighbours told the lady what we wanted & about the neighbours & crystal bowl. She told cp I must be a special  lady & gave him a bunch of flowers to give to me how lovely, so thy are in a bucket to take down south

Grocery shopping today followed by bank and hairdressers. Can't believe how quiet supermarket and bank were.

Last day of school for my lot today.
I went grocery shopping to get everything I need ready for Christmas lunch. I'm feeding 16 people this year (or more)

Dede, that is a lot of people for Christmas lunch. This year we are having a large Christmas lunch too 36 people at my aunt's house. Should be lovely
I had my last day at work today for a couple of weeks, and we had a lovely seafood lunch to celebrate. I finally bought my gingerbread tree home from work where it has sat in disgrace since my failed attempt at entering it in the Royal Show. It still smells lovely, so I think I'll put it on the table Christmas Eve.

Today I have been doing ironing and washing, and then I tackled the huge job of cleaning out the fridge... got all the shelves out and gave it a really good clean. Did the freezer too, thank goodness we only have one

I'm working from home today, since school broke up yesterday and there's no holiday program available. It means I'll miss our work xmas drinks this afternoon - again! I don't think I've managed to get to a work xmas function since I've had kids, not that I really mind.
Very quiet on the work front, all my usual meetings have been cancelled, so I'll probably be on here all day and counting down the hours until I'm on holidays..... 6 to go 
I was on the phone to the post office for 1/2 hour this morning - yesterday I received 7 letters in a bundle addressed to people I don't know, opened one and they were mail redirection notices! Either someone is using my address for something dodgy, or the post office have messed up somebody's mail redirections. Who knows?
I think we'll go out to dinner tonight to celebrate official start to the holidays.

Just dropped 2 GD's off at dance dress rehearsal as my DD has gone to hospital with contractions.
