I made a risotto tonight, only the 3rd time I've made one and I forgot to set on Reverse speed  :-))  Of course it turned out more gluggy than it should have but the flavours with the garlic and chilli prawns was really nice.  I couldn't eat it on it's own but with the prawns it was very nice.  I converted a Bill Granger recipe called Citrus Risotto with garlic & chilli prawns.

I also made a lovely cobb loaf, it turned out crusty on the outside and nice and soft on the inside, was very happy with it.  :)

Thanks Maddy.  I've been flat out for the past 3 weeks.  Having my dtr and baby staying with us hasn't left me much time to play around with photos until today.  She has gone home for a couple of days as her partner is on dry land until Thursday then she'll come back.  Am loving every minute of it but think I'll fall in a heap when she finally goes back.  :D

The signature in the photos I was able to add in Picasa3 where I upload my photos to from my camera.   ;D

Have baked pasta ready to go in the oven and Portuguese rolls nearly finished their first rest. Read so much about the rolls I thought I had better give them a go. Just realised both recipes are Isi's and from what I've read both are failsafe.

Beef with roast potatoes, veg and yorkshire puddings

I think the yorkies are up there in the kids top 10 so should make them more often - guess it doesn't have to be a roast, lol.

I am making a savoury curry type beef braise - I whizzed it all up in the TM and poured it over uncooked blade steak and then cooked for two hours... delish !! it has apple, onion, vinegar, curry powder, sugar and seasonings....sounds weird but really tasty!

Today I cooked sloppy joe mix  in the slowcooker, then we had them tonight after footy with toasted focaccia I made earlier.
