Thankyou for your nice comments girls, it's nice to hear  ;D

I'm yet to make the potato & leek soup, but I will soon, we like soup in this house regardless of the weather.

Tonight will be an easy meal, have taken a couple of pizza doughs from the freezer which are defrosting in the fridge along with the tomato base sauce.  Will just need to roll them out and simply top with the tomato sauce, thinly sliced mild salami (so it crisps up), fresh slices of roma tomatoes, sliced black olives and a light sprinkling of an  assortment of cheeses (mozzarella, parmesan and tasty). When I take out of the oven I then sprinkle with a little bit more parmesan and rocket, slice and serve.  Simple but nice.

I may make a half serve of the garlic & herb pull apart too if I get my skates on, have taken the garlic butter out of the freezer, so just have to make the dough. :)

I've just had a wonderful morning. First I made the broccoli timbales, followed by a recipe from Tenina's Steam Cooking for a parmesan/macadamia cookie and finally some crackers to have with dips. I was amazed at how little washing up I had. Tonight I'm making the Sundried tomato and capsicum dip, some 5 seed bread and more broccoli timbales.

Well, as of tomorrow, I will have had my TM for a week (and I love it) and so far I have made:
Steamed Pork buns (for my meat eating friends)
Steamed Vegetarian buns
Steamed custard buns
Chai Tea
Orange and Carrot Juice
butter
custard
Shrimp dumplings
Flourless chocolate cake < Teresa cutter recipe (really good, I can post the converted recipe if you want it)
Chocolate self-saucing pudding (with real dark chocolate, the best I have ever made... ever!)
Cyndi O'meara bread
Wholemeal rolls
Soy milk
Fruit Scones
Potato and leek soup
Smoothies
Cocktails
Sweet chilli relish (asian dipping sauce)

haha! Obession much? I'm not normally this productive... I think I might just have to settle my excitement down a bit. Karen3 is coming around to do a demonstration tonight, so I will have a night off! lol

Sounds like you're having fun - the flourless choc cake would be great if you have time   :-*

My Thermomix arrived today and by 12 I managed to get the toddler into bed for a nap and I sat down to a bowl of piping hot potato and leek soup (EDC) Oh my goddess. So divine and simple. I think I'm in love!
I'm glad someone else loves this soup!! We loved it too and was one of the first things I made with my machine. :)

Well I figured you can't really stuff up a soup and it was an good way to get to know the machine LOL

Our get together last night was fantastic fun. I did Sundried tomato and Capsicum dip from the EDC, 5 Seed bread, and the Broccoli Timbales. We also had (all made in the TMX) a yum olive tapenade with lovely thin crackers (done with a pasta machine). strawberry and ginger sorbet, a wow chick pea soup, chicken and vegies with a delicious sauce from the varoma, Fish pie with potato topping, pears in red wine and zabliagone. For afters we had fudgy wudgy cookies and Carrot and White chocolate cake I had made earlier with chai made in the TMX.
I really enjoyed it and the lady who thought of it is to be commended as it's a great idea.
I don't really know if the only non owners will purchase a TMX but they certainly seemed to enjoy the food.

Wow that sounds like a very filling dinner! What a great way to share the TMX.

This afternoon I made, well attempted the garlic and herb pull apart. It ended up being a giant roll but it still tastes great. If the kids eat it, well then it's a success. So a success it was. :D

I made the hazelnut chocolate spread which looks really good.

For dinner? I made the Coriander and Coconut chicken (it's in the fridge) to BBQ for dinner with a salad.

I'm really loving my TMX!

What a great night Cookie1, well done to you all.

I haven't cooked anything here for a couple of days, ate out yesterday and today we had the left-over fish pie from Thursday - gosh I love that pie. Unbelievably tasty.
