Oh MF, yes only food, I dont include meat as I buy in bulk, but I do include deli meats.

Have a go, its fun & even  if you spend more like I have this week, its still a lot less than what you used to spend. :)

Give it a go, secret menu planning :)

Thanks Hally I will give it a go as I tend to buy way too much and then don't use all the fruit and veg depending on how many people are in my home during the week.
Couldn't see how it was possible if it included cleaning products, toiletries and other non food products.
Will start next week and maybe I can get some tips please.  ;D ;D ;D

I am now well over food budget :o

Cant be helped, still in pain & I wanted an easy weekendso I am up to $149.58.

Physio reckons anothrt 6 treatments over 3 weeks before I am good :( >:(

Bought a lot of packaged items today which I dont buy these days, dips, biscuits, french stick, salad dressing.

I have realised there are times when you just need to have easy food if your unable to cook.  So this could be for another 3 weeks, I hope not.

Hows everyone else?

H :)

At the end of the day we all have to eat Hally and if an illness or painful condition means we can't spend all day in the kitchen preparing food as we normally do, then so be it.  The family won't mind and you will get the break your body needs.  There are healthy options to buy so don't stress over it.

Has the physiotherapist said what could have caused your problem?

Mmmmm $250 this week but I haven't been back to shops at all ( which for me is a miracle) and that includes meat for next week plus bits and bobs for my sisters birthday dinner on Sunday so not too bad
Next weeks should be way under since I will only need fruit, vegies and milk

Halex hope your out of pain soon and back in the kitchen  :)

My first initial problem was repetitive use.

Then what triggered major problem, I fell asleep propped up in bed & my head hang to the right side, ( we were watching tv in the hotel room) this caused the nerve to be well & truly trapped, this is a common probem especially on long haul flights too!!

We have been well and truly under the $100 while we have been away. Even counting all the chocolates I have bought. Today's shop was. $92 and that was the most expensive since we left. I haven't been cooking nearly as much and buying only basic grills and simple veggies.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

I'm still in,  although like Gert have learned to be more disciplined,  so haven't been on much.  I notice that Safeway is not doing as well as Coles.  I know the reason.!!!!! I have been keeping under the $100,   I must tell them at the share holders meeting that it is all due to Hally. ;D ;D ;D

So in future no watching TV in bed and if you do, make sure DH wakes you up if you fall asleep - I daresay he has already fallen asleep himself though  ;)
