I haven't used it before and was hoping it's not too strong for the fussy little people in my life

I recommend using it and the fussy little people will have to eat it. You will only create fussy people by catering for them  ;)
Don't tell them and they will never know, and certainly don't give them rubbish food before or after to fall back on if they don't eat it.

Thanks CP they get what we are having for dinner and if they don't eat it I say I will see you at breakfast, works most of the time and at least I know that they do end up to be good eaters with my 2 older ones eating anything and everything and the fussiness does disappear eventually  :)

I made this tonight. I liked it very much but DW not so much.  It would seem that she does not like tarragon. I could not get fresh tarragon so I used dried and might have used too much.

I think this recipe would work well with turmeric in place of the tarragon.

Thanks for the feedback Dash. How much of the dried tarragon did you use? Dried herbs are much more concentrated than fresh herbs, so you would only have needed a tiny sprinkle ;)

Turmeric sounds good too! :)

I used a tablespoon. You listed 2 tbls in your recipe so I probably should have used 2 tsp. I think the normal fresh to dried herb ratio is 3-1.

I still liked it and would make it agin if DW would eat it.
